Boston did not, however, defeat the Bulls against the spread, which closed at 7.5 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 194.5.
Boston got 16 points from Kevin Garnett and another 15 points from Glen Davis. Rajon Rondo contributed 11 assists, while Kevin Garnett cleaned the glass with 10 rebounds.
Chicago got 26 points from Joakim Noah in a losing cause and another 20 points from Luol Deng. Derrick Rose contributed 9 assists for the Bulls, while Joakim Noah had 12 rebounds.
The Celtics hit the break leading 49-38 before taking care of business in the second half.
Chicago won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 43-31.
Boston looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Thunder. The Bulls will aim to get back on the winning track vs Denver.
