Phoenix won on the scoreboard, but lost at the pay window as they failed to cover the 6-point spread. The game went OVER the consensus closing total of 219.5.
Phoenix got 25 points from Steve Nash and another 18 points from Hedo Turkoglu. Steve Nash contributed 9 assists, while Channing Frye cleaned the glass with 11 rebounds.
Memphis got 26 points from Marc Gasol in a losing cause and another 26 points from Rudy Gay. Mike Conley contributed 7 assists for the Grizzlies, while Zach Randolph had 14 rebounds.
Phoenix trailed at halftime, 55-45.
Phoenix won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 55-48.
Phoenix looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Hawks. The Grizzlies will aim to get back on the winning track at Sacramento.
