Northern Arizona was outgained by Arizona State 554-237 yards in Thursday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 25-14 by the Sun Devils.

Northern Arizona lost the time of possession battle 30:16/29:44, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
