Charlotte did not, however, defeat the Timberwolves against the spread, which closed at 9 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 196.5.
Gerald Wallace had 26 points for Charlotte and Tyrus Thomas chipped in with 20 points. D.J. Augustin had 11 assists for the Bobcats, while Tyrus Thomas was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 10 boards.
Minnesota got 28 points from Michael Beasley in a losing cause and another 20 points from Kevin Love. Sebastian Telfair contributed 6 assists for the Timberwolves, while Darko Milicic had 12 rebounds.
The rebound battle favored Charlotte as they grabbed 45 boards, while Minnesota only had 37.
Charlotte looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Heat. The Timberwolves will aim to get back on the winning track vs Los Angeles.
