Shockley leads Georgia over Mississippi State

D.J. Shockley tossed TD strikes to Danny Ware and Leonard Pope on Saturday night as the No. 7 Georgia Bulldogs topped the Mississippi State Bulldogs by a 23-10 score.

Georgia, however, failed to cover the 15-point spread on this night. The combined score fell UNDER the game’s posted total (42.5).

Shockley went 21-of-36 for 312 yards passing. Brandon Coutu kicked three field goals in the win for Georgia.

Mississippi State QB Omarr Conner went 19-of-32 for 205 yards, connecting with Eric Butler for a touchdown and getting intercepted once.
