The Jazz earned a straight-up victory but suffered an ATS defeat in failing to cover the 10-point spread. Over-Under bettors who played UNDER the total of 202.5 were rewarded with a winning wager.
Utah got 20 points from C.J. Miles and another 14 points from Raja Bell. Deron Williams contributed 8 assists, while Al Jefferson cleaned the glass with 10 rebounds.
The Grizzlies got a 19-point performance from Mike Conley, who was supported by 18 points from Rudy Gay. Marc Gasol had 5 assists in a losing cause for Memphis, while Zach Randolph grabbed 14 rebounds.
Utah led at halftime, 41-40.
Memphis had a 43-38 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
Utah looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Heat. The Grizzlies will aim to get back on the winning track at Phoenix.
