The Mavericks were a 9.5-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score went OVER the total, which closed at 189.5.
Dallas got 18 points from Shawn Marion and another 15 points from Caron Butler. Jose Juan Barea contributed 13 assists, while Dirk Nowitzki cleaned the glass with 10 rebounds.
New Jersey got 24 points from Brook Lopez in a losing cause and another 21 points from Anthony Morrow. Devin Harris contributed 4 assists for the Nets, while Kris Humphries had 13 rebounds.
The Mavericks hit the break leading 55-40 before taking care of business in the second half.
Dallas won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 38-36.
Next game, Dallas takes its act home to face Utah looking for another win. For New Jersey, they head home to face Los Angeles.
