Houston got 18 points from Chase Budinger and another 14 points from Kevin Martin. Kyle Lowry contributed 9 assists, while Luis Scola cleaned the glass with 10 rebounds.
Sacramento got 17 points from DeMarcus Cousins in a losing cause and another 17 points from Carl Landry. Beno Udrih contributed 6 assists for the Kings, while Jason Thompson had 10 rebounds.
Houston led at halftime, 58-48.
The rebound battle favored Houston as they grabbed 42 boards, while Sacramento only had 41.
Houston heads into a battle against the Thunder. Sacramento, meanwhile, will have their next action against New Orleans.
