The Nuggets were a 2-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score went OVER the total, which closed at 204.5.
Denver got 28 points from J.R. Smith and another 21 points from Carmelo Anthony. Chauncey Billups contributed 13 assists, while Nene Hilario cleaned the glass with 9 rebounds.
Miami got 24 points from Chris Bosh in a losing cause and another 16 points from Dwyane Wade. Mike Miller contributed 8 assists for the Heat, while Mike Miller had 8 rebounds.
Denver led at halftime, 60-43.
Denver won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 50-41.
Denver looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Cavaliers. The Heat will aim to get back on the winning track at Chicago.
