Dallas got 22 points from Shawn Marion and another 21 points from Jason Kidd. Jason Kidd contributed 10 assists, while Tyson Chandler cleaned the glass with 10 rebounds.
Los Angeles got 23 points from Pau Gasol in a losing cause and another 21 points from Kobe Bryant. Kobe Bryant contributed 10 assists for the Lakers, while Lamar Odom had 10 rebounds.
The Mavericks hit the break trailing 56-52 before taking care of business in the second half.
