Phoenix got 17 points from Steve Nash and another 13 points from Marcin Gortat. Steve Nash contributed 14 assists, while Marcin Gortat cleaned the glass with 14 rebounds.
Washington got 25 points from Nick Young in a losing cause and another 16 points from Rashard Lewis. John Wall contributed 14 assists for the Wizards, while Rashard Lewis had 12 rebounds.
Phoenix trailed at halftime, 53-52.
The rebound battle favored Washington as they grabbed 48 boards, while Phoenix only had 47.
Next game, Phoenix takes its act on the road to face Detroit looking for another win. For Washington, they head home to face Boston.
