Spartans use ground game to defeat Kent St.
The Michigan State Spartans opened their season by rushing for five touchdowns en route to a 49-14 victory over the Kent St. Golden Flashes on Saturday.

Jehuu Caulcrick rushed for 139 yards and three touchdowns on 14 carries, while Jason Teague and Javon Ringer each picked up a touchdown on the ground for Michigan State.
