Spartans take care of Warriors
Drew Stanton threw for 300 yards and three touchdowns Saturday to give the Michigan State Spartans a 42-14 win over the visiting Hawaii Warriors.
The Spartans, however, didn’t make their supporters happy in this one as they failed to cover the 31-point spread. The combined score fell UNDER the high posted total (68).
Stanton went 21-of-26 for Michigan State in the win. Javon Ringer ran for three Michigan State scores.
Warriors QB Colt Brennan was good on 23-of-31 pass attempts for 220 yards, and tossed TD strikes to Davone Bess and Ian Sample.
