Nittany Lions tame Spartans
No. 5 ranked Penn State took care of business Saturday, downing the Michigan State Spartans 31-22 on the road.
The Nittany Lions had a 9-point spread coming in and just covered. The game's combined score was just UNDER the posted total (56).
Lions QB Michael Robinson was anything but spectacular, going just 10-for-20 for 109 yards passing all day. Spartans QB Drew Stanton had good personal numbers going 23-for-36 and totaling 236 yards passing in the loss.
A blocked punt returned for a touchdown made the difference on the day in Penn State moving to 10-1 on the year.
