Huge second half propels Michigan State

The Michigan State Spartans used a 28-3 second half to drop the Eastern Michigan Eagles 52-20 at Spartan Stadium on Saturday.

The Spartans covered the 26-point spread at home, and the 72 total points were OVER the posted total of 52.

Drew Stanton was 23-for-31 for 242 yards, three touchdowns and one pick, to go along with two rushing scores. Matt Trannon caught 13 passes for 132 yards and two touchdowns for the Spartans.

Andy Schmitt was 12-for-19 for 129 yards and one touchdown, while Eric Deslauriers had six catches for 54 yards and one score for the Eagles.
