Spartans explode on Hoosiers
The Michigan State Spartans held the ball for over 41 minutes in Week 7, as they blew out the Indiana Hoosiers 52-27 at Spartan Stadium.
The Spartans covered the 3.5-point home spread, and the 79 points scored were OVER the posted total of 62.
Brian Hoyer was 20-for-23 for 190 yards and a touchdown, and Javon Ringer rushed for 209 yards and two scores on 29 carries for the Spartans.
Kellen Lewis ran for a TD and passed for another, while fumbling once which was returned for a major. James Hardy caught six passes for 121 yards and a score for the Hoosiers.
