Memphis won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the 1.5-point spread as underdogs. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 197.5.
Memphis got 19 points from Marc Gasol and another 14 points from Darrell Arthur. Mike Conley contributed 11 assists, while Zach Randolph cleaned the glass with 9 rebounds.
The Magic got a 25-point performance from Dwight Howard, who was supported by 18 points from Jason Richardson. Jameer Nelson had 4 assists in a losing cause for Orlando, while Dwight Howard grabbed 14 rebounds.
Memphis trailed at halftime, 58-54.
Orlando had a 39-32 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
Next game, Memphis takes its act on the road to face Minnesota looking for another win. For Orlando, they head home to face Miami.
