The Jazz got a 26-point performance from Al Jefferson, who was supported by 20 points from Paul Millsap. Deron Williams had 12 assists in a losing cause for Utah, while Paul Millsap grabbed 14 rebounds.
First-half bettors who backed Chicago were victorious, as the score was 44-41 at the break.
Utah won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 48-41.
Next game, Chicago takes its act on the road to face New Orleans looking for another win. For Utah, they head home to face Phoenix.
