Cardinals top Broncos in a marathon
Brian Jackson kicked a 30-yard field goal in the game’s fourth overtime to give the Ball State Cardinals a 60-57 win over the Western Michigan Broncos on Saturday.

Tim Hiller completed 20-of-27 passes for 308 yards and five touchdowns and Greg Jennings caught 11 passes for 244 yards and four touchdowns in the win. Trovon Riley ran for 149 yards and a touchdown on 34 carries for the Cardinals.
Joey Lynch passed for 299 yards and four touchdowns. Larry Bostic rushed for three touchdowns and B.J. Hill ran for 168 yards and a touchdown for the Broncos and Dante Love had two touchdown receptions in the loss.
