Broncos come back to beat rivals
Western Michigan scored the final 14 points of the game to over come a 15-3 fourth-quarter deficit, beating rival Eastern Michigan 18-15 at Waldo Stadium on Saturday.
The Broncos did not cover the 15.5-point spread at home, and the 33 points scored were UNDER the posted total of 42.5.
Ryan Cubit was 18-for-32 for 143 yards and a touchdown, while Mark Bonds ran for 103 yards on 17 carries and scored the game-winner for the Broncos.
Andy Schmitt went 15-for-26 for 155 yards while splitting quarterback duties, and also rushing for 43 yards. Eric Deslauriers had six catches for 85 yards and a score for the Eagles.
