Denver got 20 points from Ty Lawson and another 16 points from Wilson Chandler. Ty Lawson contributed 11 assists, while Gary Forbes cleaned the glass with 9 rebounds.
Phoenix got 14 points from Marcin Gortat in a losing cause and another 13 points from Jared Dudley. Steve Nash contributed 7 assists for the Suns, while Marcin Gortat had 18 rebounds.
Denver led at halftime, 59-49.
The rebound battle favored Denver as they grabbed 51 boards, while Phoenix only had 42.
Denver looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Pistons. The Suns will aim to get back on the winning track vs Orlando.
