Eagles outgun Chippewas
The Eastern Michigan Eagles put up 441 yards of offense in Week 12, edging the Central Michigan Chippewas 48-45 at Kelly/Shorts Stadium.
The Eagles were 14.5-point road underdogs, and the 93 points scored were OVER the posted total of 66.5.
Andy Schmitt was 25-for-34 passing, 212 yards and one touchdown, while rushing for 61 yards on 11 carries and three touchdowns. Pierre Walker added 149 yards and three majors on the ground for the Eagles.
Dan LeFevour went 26-for-37 for 246 yards and one touchdown, and he also ran for 88 yards and three touchdowns. Justin Gardner had seven receptions for 65 yards for the Chippewas.
