Lakers vs Trail Blazers Final: 84-80 - Recap

Kobe Bryant scored 22 points leading the Lakers to an 84-80 victory over Portland at STAPLES Center on Sunday.

The Lakers earned a straight-up victory but suffered an ATS defeat in failing to cover the 6.5-point spread. Over-Under bettors who played UNDER the total of 186.5 were rewarded with a winning wager.

Lamar Odom had 16 points for Los Angeles and Pau Gasol chipped in with 14 points. Lamar Odom had 6 assists for the Lakers, while Pau Gasol was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 13 boards.

Portland got 25 points from Nicolas Batum in a losing cause and another 18 points from LaMarcus Aldridge. Andre Miller contributed 5 assists for the Trail Blazers, while Marcus Camby had 10 rebounds.

The Lakers hit the break trailing 48-44 before taking care of business in the second half.

Portland won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 45-35.

Los Angeles looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Suns. The Trail Blazers will aim to get back on the winning track vs Washington.
