The Warriors earned a straight-up victory but suffered an ATS defeat in failing to cover the 13-point spread. Over-Under bettors who played UNDER the total of 218.5 were rewarded with a winning wager.
Golden State got 33 points from David Lee and another 19 points from Dorell Wright. Monta Ellis contributed 13 assists, while David Lee cleaned the glass with 12 rebounds.
Washington got 28 points from JaVale McGee in a losing cause and another 23 points from Maurice Evans. John Wall contributed 12 assists for the Wizards, while JaVale McGee had 18 rebounds.
First-half bettors who backed Washington were victorious, as the score was 67-64 at the break.
Washington won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 46-44.
Golden State looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Thunder. The Wizards will aim to get back on the winning track at Utah.
