Orlando got 26 points and 14 rebounds from Dwight Howard en route to an 89-77 victory over Charlotte on Friday at Amway Center.
Orlando did not, however, defeat the Bobcats against the spread, which closed at 12.5 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 184.5.
Orlando got 15 points from Jameer Nelson and another 14 points from Quentin Richardson. Hedo Turkoglu contributed 7 assists, while Dwight Howard cleaned the glass with 14 rebounds.
The Bobcats got a 21-point performance from Dante Cunningham, who was supported by 19 points from D.J. Augustin. D.J. Augustin had 6 assists in a losing cause for Charlotte, while Kwame Brown grabbed 11 rebounds.
Orlando led at halftime, 49-39.
Orlando looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Raptors. The Bobcats will aim to get back on the winning track vs Washington.
