Kent State nip pesky Redhawks
Julian Edelman passed for a touchdown and ran one in himself as the Kent State Golden Flashes edged the Miami (OH) Redhawks 16-14 at Yager Stadium on Saturday.
The Golden Flashes were 14-point underdogs to win on the road, and the 30 points scored was UNDER the posted total of 45.
Edelman was also 14-for-22 for 244 yards, one touchdown and one interception, and Najah Pruden caught five passes for 145 yards and one score for the Golden Flashes.
Mike Kokal went 20-for-35 for 167 yards and one pick, and Brandon Murphy had 92 yards on 20 carries and a touchdown for the Redhawks.
