Clippers Fall 99-78 Against Houston - Game Recap

The battle between the Rockets and Clippers didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Los Angeles was handed a 99-78 defeat on Saturday at Toyota Center.

Houston was the ATS victor, as they covered the 8-point spread as a favorite. Over-Under bettors who played UNDER the total of 215.5 were rewarded at the payout window.

Houston got 16 points from Chase Budinger and another 16 points from Kevin Martin. Goran Dragic contributed 7 assists, while Chuck Hayes cleaned the glass with 13 rebounds.

Los Angeles got 19 points from Eric Gordon in a losing cause and another 13 points from Blake Griffin. Eric Gordon contributed 6 assists for the Clippers, while DeAndre Jordan had 11 rebounds.

The Rockets hit the break leading 53-37 before taking care of business in the second half.

Houston had a 58-45 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.

Next game, Houston takes its act home to face Dallas looking for another win. For Los Angeles, they head home to face Memphis.
