Josh Betts completed 23-of-37 passes for 253 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Miami (Ohio) RedHawks to a 27-10 victory over the Kent State Golden Flashes on Saturday.

The RedHawks won this game as 7-point favorites on the road. The combined score fell UNDER the posted total (55.5).

Brandon Murphy gained 169 yards and a touchdown on the ground, while Martin Nance caught seven passes for 93 yards and two touchdowns in the win for the RedHawks.

Michael Machen threw for 334 yards and a touchdown but was picked off twice in the loss. Derrick Bush caught nine passes for 149 yards and a touchdown for the Golden Flashes.
