Philadelphia was scorched by LaMarcus Aldridge for 25 points as the Trail Blazers defated the 76ers 107-103 in NBA action on Monday.
Portland did not, however, defeat the 76ers against the spread, which closed at 5 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 187.5.
Portland got 21 points from Gerald Wallace and another 16 points from Wesley Matthews. Raymond Felton contributed 8 assists, while Marcus Camby cleaned the glass with 13 rebounds.
Philadelphia got 25 points from Louis Williams in a losing cause and another 22 points from Andre Iguodala. Spencer Hawes contributed 9 assists for the 76ers, while Spencer Hawes had 14 rebounds.
The Trail Blazers hit the break leading 48-44 before taking care of business in the second half.
Portland had a 50-47 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
Portland looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Kings. The 76ers will aim to get back on the winning track at Phoenix.
