Deron Williams scored 24 points and chipped in with 10 assists for New Jersey on Wednesday, leading the Nets to a 107-100 victory over Golden State at Prudential Center.
The Nets were a 3-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score went OVER the total, which closed at 197.5.
MarShon Brooks had 22 points for New Jersey and Kris Humphries chipped in with 18 points. Deron Williams had 10 assists for the Nets, while Kris Humphries was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 15 boards.
Golden State got 30 points from Monta Ellis in a losing cause and another 17 points from Dorell Wright. Nate Robinson contributed 7 assists for the Warriors, while David Lee had 10 rebounds.
The Nets hit the break trailing 56-55 before taking care of business in the second half.
New Jersey had a 45-25 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
Next game, New Jersey takes its act home to face Oklahoma City looking for another win. For Golden State, they head home to face Indiana.
