The Suns got a 21-point performance from Marcin Gortat, who was supported by 17 points from Steve Nash. Steve Nash had 14 assists in a losing cause for Phoenix, while Marcin Gortat grabbed 12 rebounds.
Toronto trailed at halftime, 52-48.
Toronto won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 46-40.
Toronto heads into a battle against the Jazz. Phoenix, meanwhile, will have their next action against Portland.
