The Grizzlies were a 3-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score went OVER the total, which closed at 185.5.
Memphis got 21 points from Tony Allen and another 20 points from Marreese Speights. Mike Conley contributed 10 assists, while Marreese Speights cleaned the glass with 18 rebounds.
The Nets got a 26-point performance from Deron Williams, who was supported by 17 points from Anthony Morrow. Deron Williams had 11 assists in a losing cause for New Jersey, while Shelden Williams grabbed 12 rebounds.
First-half bettors who backed New Jersey were victorious, as the score was 55-53 at the break.
Memphis won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 41-35.
Next game, Memphis takes its act home to face Denver looking for another win. For New Jersey, they head on the road to face Indiana.
