Cleveland did not, however, defeat the Pistons against the spread, which closed at 2 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 192.5.
Cleveland got 25 points from Kyrie Irving and another 16 points from Alonzo Gee. Kyrie Irving contributed 8 assists, while Alonzo Gee cleaned the glass with 11 rebounds.
Detroit got 24 points from Brandon Knight in a losing cause and another 19 points from Greg Monroe. Greg Monroe contributed 7 assists for the Pistons, while Greg Monroe had 11 rebounds.
The Cavaliers hit the break trailing 55-44 before taking care of business in the second half.
The rebound battle favored Cleveland as they grabbed 49 boards, while Detroit only had 44.
Cleveland looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Hornets. The Pistons will aim to get back on the winning track at Toronto.
