Boston got 21 points from Ray Allen and another 13 points from Kevin Garnett. Rajon Rondo contributed 12 assists, while Kevin Garnett cleaned the glass with 13 rebounds.
The Rockets got an 18 -point performance from Kyle Lowry, who was supported by 18 points from Luis Scola. Kyle Lowry had 7 assists in a losing cause for Houston, while Samuel Dalembert grabbed 17 rebounds.
Boston led at halftime, 46-40.
Houston had a 57-38 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
