Utah got 19 points from Devin Harris and another 15 points from C.J. Miles. Devin Harris contributed 8 assists, while Al Jefferson cleaned the glass with 12 rebounds.
Detroit got 29 points from Rodney Stuckey in a losing cause and another 14 points from Greg Monroe. Rodney Stuckey contributed 7 assists for the Pistons, while Greg Monroe had 5 rebounds.
Utah led at halftime, 52-48.
Utah won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 38-29.
Next game, Utah takes its act on the road to face Phoenix looking for another win. For Detroit, they head on the road to face Sacramento.
