New York got 18 points from Jeremy Lin and another 17 points from Carmelo Anthony. Jeremy Lin contributed 10 assists, while Amar'e Stoudemire cleaned the glass with 12 rebounds.
Toronto got 17 points from DeMar DeRozan in a losing cause and another 15 points from Andrea Bargnani. Jose Calderon contributed 9 assists for the Raptors, while Ed Davis had 9 rebounds.
New York led at halftime, 53-44.
The rebound battle favored New York as they grabbed 46 boards, while Toronto only had 30.
Next game, New York takes its act on the road to face Philadelphia looking for another win. For Toronto, they head home to face Chicago.
