Sacramento got 23 points from DeMarcus Cousins and another 18 points from Isaiah Thomas. Isaiah Thomas contributed 7 assists, while Jason Thompson cleaned the glass with 13 rebounds.
The Grizzlies got a 23-point performance from Rudy Gay, who was supported by 16 points from Mike Conley. Mike Conley had 9 assists in a losing cause for Memphis, while Marc Gasol grabbed 10 rebounds.
First-half bettors who backed Sacramento were victorious, as the score was 66-56 at the break.
Sacramento won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 47-37.
