Minnesota got 28 points from Kevin Love in a losing cause and another 15 points from Wayne Ellington. Luke Ridnour contributed 5 assists for the Timberwolves, while Kevin Love had 11 rebounds.
The Grizzlies hit the break leading 44-41 before taking care of business in the second half.
Memphis had a 49-40 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
