Charlotte was run off the court by the Hawks on Wednesday as Atlanta blasted the Bobcats 120-93 at Philips Arena.
The Hawks were a 13-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score went OVER the total, which closed at 186.5.
Atlanta got 24 points from Josh Smith and another 17 points from Jeff Teague. Jeff Teague contributed 6 assists, while Zaza Pachulia cleaned the glass with 11 rebounds.
The Bobcats got a 21-point performance from Kemba Walker, who was supported by 15 points from Gerald Henderson. Kemba Walker had 5 assists in a losing cause for Charlotte, while Byron Mullens grabbed 7 rebounds.
Atlanta led at halftime, 61-44.
The rebound battle favored Atlanta as they grabbed 39 boards, while Charlotte only had 37.
Atlanta looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Pistons. The Bobcats will aim to get back on the winning track at Milwaukee.
