The Suns got an 18 -point performance from Shannon Brown, who was supported by 17 points from Jared Dudley. Steve Nash had 11 assists in a losing cause for Phoenix, while Marcin Gortat grabbed 14 rebounds.
The rebound battle favored Phoenix as they grabbed 54 boards, while Denver only had 41.
Denver heads into a battle against the Warriors. Phoenix, meanwhile, will have their next action against Los Angeles.
