Phoenix got 19 points from Jared Dudley and another 18 points from Steve Nash. Steve Nash contributed 10 assists, while Marcin Gortat cleaned the glass with 15 rebounds.
Houston got 22 points from Goran Dragic in a losing cause and another 21 points from Luis Scola. Goran Dragic contributed 7 assists for the Rockets, while Marcus Camby had 18 rebounds.
Phoenix trailed at halftime, 55-51.
Phoenix won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 44-39.
Phoenix looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Spurs. The Rockets will aim to get back on the winning track at Denver.
