Chicago got 20 points from Joakim Noah and another 15 points from Carlos Boozer. Derrick Rose contributed 9 assists, while Joakim Noah cleaned the glass with 17 rebounds.
Detroit got 32 points from Rodney Stuckey in a losing cause and another 13 points from Greg Monroe. Brandon Knight contributed 7 assists for the Pistons, while Jason Maxiell had 9 rebounds.
The Bulls hit the break leading 49-41 before taking care of business in the second half.
The rebound battle favored Chicago as they grabbed 50 boards, while Detroit only had 41.
Next game, Chicago takes its act home to face Washington looking for another win. For Detroit, they head home to face Cleveland.
