Denver got 26 points from Kenneth Faried in a losing cause and another 24 points from Danilo Gallinari. Ty Lawson contributed 11 assists for the Nuggets, while Kenneth Faried had 14 rebounds.
Minnesota led at halftime, 51-50.
Minnesota had a 44-42 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
Minnesota looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Hornets. The Nuggets will aim to get back on the winning track vs Memphis.
