Memphis got 16 points from Marc Gasol and another 14 points from Rudy Gay. Mike Conley contributed 8 assists, while Zach Randolph cleaned the glass with 16 rebounds.
Utah got 21 points from Al Jefferson in a losing cause and another 12 points from Paul Millsap. Mo Williams contributed 7 assists for the Jazz, while Al Jefferson had 8 rebounds.
The Grizzlies hit the break trailing 54-44 before taking care of business in the second half.
The rebound battle favored Memphis as they grabbed 48 boards, while Utah only had 35.
Next game, Memphis takes its act home to face Chicago looking for another win. For Utah, they head on the road to face Brooklyn.
