Charlotte got 22 points from Michael Kidd-Gilchrist in a losing cause and another 19 points from Gerald Henderson. Kemba Walker contributed 9 assists for the Bobcats, while Hakim Warrick had 10 rebounds.
First-half bettors who backed Charlotte were victorious, as the score was 57-40 at the break.
Charlotte won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 42-38.
New Orleans looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Hawks. The Bobcats will aim to get back on the winning track at Chicago.
