The battle between the Spurs and Grizzlies didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Memphis was handed a 103-82 defeat on Wednesday at AT&T Center.
San Antonio was the ATS victor, as they covered the 5.5-point spread as a favorite. Over-Under bettors who played UNDER the total of 187.5 were rewarded at the payout window.
San Antonio got 19 points from Tim Duncan and another 17 points from Tony Parker. Tony Parker contributed 11 assists, while Tiago Splitter cleaned the glass with 9 rebounds.
Memphis got 17 points from Rudy Gay in a losing cause and another 12 points from Marc Gasol. Mike Conley contributed 3 assists for the Grizzlies, while Rudy Gay had 8 rebounds.
San Antonio led at halftime, 57-54.
San Antonio had a 33-32 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
Next game, San Antonio takes its act home to face Golden State looking for another win. For Memphis, they head home to face Sacramento.
