Carlos Boozer had 16 points for Chicago and Taj Gibson chipped in with 14 points. Nate Robinson had 7 assists for the Bulls, while Joakim Noah was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 18 boards.
Detroit got 13 points from Brandon Knight in a losing cause and another 12 points from Kyle Singler. Brandon Knight contributed 7 assists for the Pistons, while Jason Maxiell had 11 rebounds.
Chicago trailed at halftime, 47-38.
Chicago won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 43-37.
Next game, Chicago takes its act home to face Golden State looking for another win. For Detroit, they head on the road to face Miami.
