Memphis got 17 points from Tony Allen and another 16 points from Zach Randolph. Mike Conley contributed 10 assists, while Zach Randolph cleaned the glass with 12 rebounds.
Golden State got 32 points from Stephen Curry in a losing cause and another 26 points from David Lee. Stephen Curry contributed 8 assists for the Warriors, while Harrison Barnes had 7 rebounds.
First-half bettors who backed Memphis were victorious, as the score was 63-56 at the break.
Memphis won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 43-34.
Next game, Memphis takes its act home to face Minnesota looking for another win. For Golden State, they head on the road to face Dallas.
