The battle between the Clippers and Bobcats didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Charlotte was handed a 106-84 defeat on Tuesday at STAPLES Center.
The Clippers were a 17-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 196.5.
Los Angeles got 24 points from Blake Griffin and another 17 points from Matt Barnes. Chris Paul contributed 13 assists, while Caron Butler cleaned the glass with 7 rebounds.
Charlotte got 24 points from Gerald Henderson in a losing cause and another 15 points from Kemba Walker. Kemba Walker contributed 5 assists for the Bobcats, while Byron Mullens had 8 rebounds.
Los Angeles led at halftime, 54-45.
The rebound battle favored Los Angeles as they grabbed 43 boards, while Charlotte only had 37.
Los Angeles heads into a battle against the Pacers. Charlotte, meanwhile, will have their next action against Utah.
