Cleveland was victimized by Tim Duncan for 30 points as the Spurs defeated the Cavaliers 119-113 in NBA action on Saturday.
San Antonio did not, however, defeat the Cavaliers against the spread, which closed at 15 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 200.5.
San Antonio got 24 points from Kawhi Leonard and another 14 points from Manu Ginobili. Manu Ginobili contributed 10 assists, while Kawhi Leonard cleaned the glass with 13 rebounds.
Cleveland got 21 points from Wayne Ellington in a losing cause and another 19 points from Marreese Speights. Luke Walton contributed 7 assists for the Cavaliers, while Tristan Thompson had 8 rebounds.
San Antonio led at halftime, 66-61.
The rebound battle favored San Antonio as they grabbed 43 boards, while Cleveland only had 29.
San Antonio looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Warriors. The Cavaliers will aim to get back on the winning track vs Indiana.
